LayerOne is a desktop teleprompter overlay app. It runs locally on your machine and is built to help presenters, creators, and educators read scripts while staying invisible in recordings, video calls, and screen captures.

We collect only the information needed to sell, deliver, support, and protect LayerOne. This may include your name, email address, purchase details, payment status, license key, and limited technical data tied to license delivery, validation, or abuse prevention.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store your full card details on LayerOne systems. Payment processing is subject to the privacy and security practices of Dodo Payments and any providers they use.

4. Email and license delivery

When you purchase LayerOne, we use your email address to send your purchase confirmation, license key, and download access. We may also use your email to respond to support requests related to orders or activation.

5. Local app data

LayerOne stores operational data locally on your device, such as scripts, preferences, hotkey settings, overlay position, and cached license status. This local data is used so the app can function properly.

6. How we use information

We use collected information to process purchases, deliver licenses, validate access, operate the download flow, prevent fraud or abuse, and provide customer support.

7. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the business, such as payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and database infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information.
