LayerOne Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using LayerOne, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Product scope

LayerOne is a desktop teleprompter overlay application sold as a software product. Features, supported platforms, pricing, and availability may change over time.

3. License and permitted use

When you purchase LayerOne, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software under the terms of your purchase. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the current offer is described as a lifetime license for one seat.

You may not resell, sublicense, lease, distribute, or make the software available to third parties except where we explicitly allow it.

4. Purchase and activation

You are responsible for providing accurate purchase information, including a valid email address for license delivery. We may suspend, limit, or revoke access where we detect fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or misuse of a license key.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Pricing is shown at checkout. Based on the current site messaging, LayerOne offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests may still be denied in cases of fraud, abuse, or clear violation of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use LayerOne in a way that violates law, infringes the rights of others, attempts to bypass licensing restrictions, reverse engineers protected components where prohibited by law, or interferes with the product, website, payment flow, or related systems.

7. Updates and support

We may release updates, fixes, design changes, and improvements at our discretion. Purchase of LayerOne does not guarantee custom development, ongoing support response times, or perpetual availability of every third-party service used alongside the product.

8. Third-party services

LayerOne and its website may rely on third-party services for payments, email delivery, hosting, analytics, or infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures originating from those providers.

9. Disclaimer

LayerOne is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or that the product will be error-free in every environment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LayerOne and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the product.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, download flow, or license validation services if you materially breach these terms or engage in fraud, misuse, or harmful activity.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of LayerOne after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms.
